Hey everyone, and happy Easter! Whether you celebrate it or not, you are free to join in our special Easter tour which will take place tomorrow, April 5th, at 5:00 PM EDT (as a point of reference, that is about 9 hours after this was posted). We know that not everyone can make this time, but no time suits everyone, and there will be plenty of other tours at different times these next couple weekends. Without further ado, lets get to the tournament rules! The Easter Open is a team tournament. You will play as a team of three, and if your team wins every member will get our fabulous prize. Every round, your team will be matched up with another team, and each member of your team will play a member of their team. Of course, winning two out of three battles moves your team on to the next round! Matchups will be randomly generated after signups close. The tier is Monotype. All battles are monotype battles. You may change teams, and you may watch other people's battles. This is to encourage creativity and versatility among the members of the tournament. Your team must have a name.
All other standard tournament rules apply. Please be at least kind of respectful toward other teams. Please don't ghost, please don't lie about having won, please save replays. Just don't be an asshole please. What are the fabulous prizes? Firstly, a free trainer card to every member of your team! Secondly, 100 bucks/points/whatever to each member of your team (we are still voting on currency). Lastly, honor and glory to you and your teammates! I will be hosting this tournament, and you can pm me with a team name and your other two members to sign up. Please have them PM me to confirm as well. Original idea credit to balto. But isn't it 16:10 EST now? Which would make the time that was posted at 13:00ish. If that is the case 9 hours from then would be 21:00 EST on 04/04 :/

The following teams have recieved byes round 1: Team Spheal, Team Fruit Salad, Desi Boys, Digger Nick, Jihadi Bandits, Raj’s Bollywood Studio, The Trinity, Team Void
The tour will begin tomorrow at 5 PM EDT. About an hour beforehand, a declare will go out warning everyone that it is to start. Since this tour is far too complicated for showdowns tour mod to handle, you will be in charge of finding your opponent and challenging them. I will post the links to all battles in a room with modchat on so that anyone interested can watch and cheer you on. After all battles are complete, I will post round 2. If your opponent does not show up or respond, pm me so I can dq them. Ideally, each round will take around 20 minutes.
EDIT: If both you and your opponent agree, you may play before the tour officially starts.
If a member of your team cannot be there, you can make a substitution at any time until 5 PM EST Tomorrow by pming me or YourKouhai on Nimbus. After that, if a team member has to leave, that team member forfeits. Sorry guys, but thats the best way to make the tour run smoothly.
